Generating Outlook Signature Block

Before you get started: Make sure you have completed your Electronic Business Card. For a guide on how to complete the business card, click here

 

Step 1 

In your favorite Desktop internet browser, navigate to https://signatures.utahtech.edu and select the "Email Signatures" tab on the top right of the page. 

 

Step 2

  1. Click the "Generate" button
    • Generated signature options will only appear when completed
  2. To the right of "Email Signature Block" click the size you want to download

 

 

Step 3

Your new signature should be downloaded to your "Downloads" folder

 

 

Step 4

  1. Open Outlook

  2. Click "New Email"

 

 

Step 5

  1. Click "Signature"
  2. Then click "Signatures..."

 

 

Step 6

In the Signatures dialog box:

  • Click "New"

 

 

Step 7

When the "New Signature" prompt opens:

  1. Name your new signature
  2. Then click "OK"

 

 

Step 8

Click the add picture icon

 

 

Step 9

The Insert Picture dialog box will open

  1. Navigate to your "Downloads" folder
  2. Select your generated signature block
  3. Click "Insert"

 

 

Step 10

In the new signature dialog box

  1. Click "Save"
  2. Then click "OK"

 

 

Step 11

In the new message dialog box

  1. Click "Signature"
  2. Then click your new signature to insert the block into your new messages
