Here are the minimum requirements for running Canvas effectively:

 

Operating System:

• Your operating system needs to be able to run the latest compatible web browsers. Use the "Is my browser up to date?" tool on this page if you are not sure.

 

Internet Browser:

• Minimum Browser Requirments according to Instructure (Canvas) browser requirements

 

Internet Speed:

• Minimum 512kbps; however, a faster connection is recommended for an optimal experience.

 

Processor and RAM:

• Canvas itself doesn't require significant processing power. A modern processor (e.g., Intel Core i3 or equivalent) and at least 2GB of RAM should be sufficient for basic usage.

 

Screen Resolution:

• Minimum resolution of 1024x600 pixels.

 

Other Software:

• JavaScript must be enabled.
• Cookies must be enabled.

 

Mobile Devices:

• Canvas is optimized for desktop displays. However, if you are using a mobile device, you can access Instructure products using a mobile application (app) or mobile browser.
