If You've Forgotten Your Password or Haven't Received It

Step 1

Go to the Password Reset Portal at https://reset.utahtech.edu. 

 

Step 2

Select the Password option.
Note: You can also reset your Multi-Factor Authentication methods by following these instructions.

 

 

Step 3

Enter your Utah Tech username (ex. [email protected]).

 

 

Step 4

Choose the email address to send a reset link to reset your password (the email address will be obfuscated). If you don't have any email addresses to choose from or the addresses listed you no longer have access to, call the IT Help Desk at 435-879-4357 for help.

 

Step 5

Check your email address for the email to reset your password. Be sure to check your spam/junk email folder. This email link is only valid for 10 minutes, so be sure to check this immediately after you request the reset email.

Click on the link or copy and paste the URL in your web browser to reset your password.

 

Step 7

Once you click on the link in your email, a new page will open asking you to enter your new password. Make sure to follow the requirements when crafting a new password.
